This is such a fun and simple card to make and I think it would be fantastic in any color combo and using any ribbon.  I love the Thinking of You stamp from Thinking Thanks & Peace from the July to December Mini Catalog, but any large greeting stamp would look and work great!  I think this would be an awesome birthday card!

I simply stamped the circle image from Textures and frames first in Mango Melody, then in Calypso Coral and finally in Magenta Madness on a 3 x 4 piece of Basic White cardstock.

I then used my Stamparatus to stamp the Thinking of You greeting in Memento Black Ink.

Next, I cut and tied an 11 inch piece of the Basic Black & White Gingham Ribbon around my Basic White cardstock and then used Black Dimensionals to adhere it to a 3 1/4 x 4 1/4 piece of Basic Black Cardstock.

I decided a add a little texture to the 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 Magenta Madness cardstock.  I meant to use the current Tasteful Textures 3D EF, but accidentally grabbed the retired Subtle 3D EF instead.  My customers will be using the correct folder on Wednesday!  LOL but you can use whatever you like! =-)

The last step was to adhere the stamped image to my cardbase again using the Black Dimensionals.

It probably took me longer to write this post than to make this card.  I think it would be great for all sorts of occasions simply by changing the colors and greeting.

• Mint Macaron 1 x 4
• Tidings of Christmas DSP 2 pieces 1 x 5 and 1 piece 1/2 x 5
• Scraps of the Kraft and Soft Succulent for the Stars
• Simply Elegant Twine 8 inches
• Diamond Weave Ribbon 2 inches

This card is actually pretty simple.  As with most projects I started by cutting my cardstock and DSP.  Next, I embossed my cardbase, did my die cutting then finished up with my stamping and punching.

I attached the strips of DSP using Multipurpose Glue.  The sprigs are attached to the back of the Soft Succulent star with a touch of Multipurpose Glue as well.  The ribbon and twine are attached between the two stars with Tear & Tape.  Both the star and Merry Christmas greeting are attached with Dimensionals.

So, get ready to add some get up and go to  your projects!!

I wanted to share two cards that I made in the last month for two very special ladies who are dear friends and a big part of my team, the Stamp Pad Society.

The first card is for my friend, downline and neighbor of almost four years, Allison for her 50th birthday.  I met Allison after locking myself out of our house on the fifth day we lived here.  Did I mention it was 8:30am in the morning, I was in a robe, no shoes, no cell phone and Jay was at the office?  She was so cool.  I introduced myself, she introduced herself and asked if we had gotten moved in and then what she could do to help me.  If was as if it was normal for some crazy lady to show up unannounced and need a phone.  If you ever meet Allison don’t ask for her version of this story!  It just gets crazier with ever telling! We became great friends after that an now we have really gotten to know each other well over the last year.  There were many days that we didn’t see anyone except each other.  We joke that we are quarantine buddies and I know our friendship, crafting together has helped us not drive our husbands crazy!

Anyway, I share all of this so you know that I wanted to make a very special card for Allison’s big biday.  She loves birds and loves paper crafting that is a bit over the top.  So, I had to do something she didn’t know how to do!  So, a shaker card featuring the birds from the Free as a Bird stamp set and using bird seed seemed to be a perfect place to start! I also wanted this to be something she could enjoy for more that just her birthday, so the Coastal Cabana piece is flat with the with Calypso Coral card attached and the whole thing will eventually go into a 5 x 7 picture frame I gave Allison with her card.

So, it is a big joke with my team that while I love to stamp and punch, I am not a big fan of coloring, die cutting or anything that takes patience.  So, everyone should know how special it is that I not only die cut to make my shaker window, I also colored all the birds using the Blends markers.  I have to say I did enjoy it a little, but don’t tell Allison!  I created the sky around my birds with Coastal Cabana ink and the new Blending Brushes. I added a little shine to the Coastal Cabana base using the White Frost Shimmer Paint and a sponge.

Just in case you need them here are the card/decor piece measurements:

• Coastal Cabana 5 x 7
• Calypso Coral 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 and scored at 4 1/4
• Basic Black frame 5 1/8 x 4 1/4
• Basic White Cardstock  and Window Sheet 4 3/4 x 3 1/2

My second card was for my dear friend, Jenn for her birthday last week.  Jenn has been a cohort and downline for almost 10 years, but has been a friend and crafting buddy for much longer!  We have planned surprise parties for each other, have shared lots of laughter and yummy dinners along with a few glasses of wine over the years.  I had the honor of helping with and being a part of her wedding and the lives of her family and children.  She and her family even lived in our guest house for a short time when they moved back from Maine.  On and off over the years my team was just the two of us, so we spent lots of time together.We are very different, but our personalities help us work SO well together!

Jenn, (along with my other minion, Deb) is a driving force in keeping the Scrappy Stampers’ Getaway going. We were actually supposed to be setting up for this year’s Getaway on her birthday last week, but due to COVID we are all home, but

hoping it will be a go in April.  We had a little gathering to celebrate Jenn’s bday and just be together last Wednesday before Mystery Stamping and I wanted to give Jenn a card that was perfect for her positive and fun personality.

Did I mention that Jenn’s favorite color is blue?  So, from this my daisy suspension card was born.  I started with the Paper Blooms DSP from this year’s SAB brochure and paired it with the large card and envelope from the assorted Memories & More Cards & Envelopes.  I think the DSP looks so sweet with the daisy punched piece and the Organdy Polka Dot Ribbon. One of the fun things I love about this card is that I used the circle I die cut out of the front of the cardbase on the inside of the card.  I hated to waste it!

Thank you for letting me share a little bit about two of the amazing ladies who are part of my team.  I love how crafting has brought use together. I hope hearing a bit about them and the cards I created just for them will inspire you.

The greetings for both cards are from the Punch Party stamp set.  You can get this stamp set and the DSP I used for FREE as part of this year’s Sale-A-Bration which only has two weeks left!  So, ask me how to get these fabulous products for yourself!

Both cards have the same simple measurements.

• Cardbase 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 and scored at 4 1/4

Strips for punching:

• Small Oval 1 1/4
• Large Oval 1 1/2
• Tailored Tag 1 3/4

The first card was inspired by the sample on page 65 of the January to June Mini Catalog using the Double Oval Punch and  the SAB Oh, So Ombre DSP.  For this card you will receive a Basic White cardbase, layer  a small oval for your greeting and punched DSP pieces.  This is so you can decide which side of the DSP you want to use!  One set of the paper is Bermuda Bay on one side and Rocco Rose on the other.  The second set is Granny Apple Green on one side and Blackberry Bliss on the other.  If you do have a color preference please let me know.  I will accommodate requests while supplies last.  The  pretty gold Fine Art Ribbon is 3 inches.

This second card features on of my favorite punches, Tailored Tag and the Berry Delightful DSP from the SAB Brochure.  I didn’t think I would like this paper, but I have really fallen in love with its bright and cheerful colors!  You will receive a Poppy Parade cardbase, Granny Apple Green layer and punched pieces of the DSP.  You will also receive a 1 1/2 inch white circle and 9 inches of the All The Trimmings Poppy Parade ribbon.

This month we are sharing projects using our favorite SAB product  along with any of the other fantastic products from either the Annual or January to June Mini Catalogs.  I decided I couldn’t just share one project as I have become a bit obsessed with the Berry Delightful DSP found on page 14 of the SAB brochure.  I must admit that initially I wasn’t keen on this bundle.  I am not really into fruit. Okay, I will eat it, but I just have never been a big fan of fruit on fabric, on paper or as part of the decor.  But I absolutely LOVE the bright cheery colors in this DSP and think it is very versatile!

My first project is a shaker card using the clear cello envelopes that I shared with my fellow NC Demos for our Stamp-A-Long in January.  It is such a fun and easy way to make a shaker card! I had so much fun using the Strawberry Builder punch to make the strawberries for the shaker!  Instead of stamping the strawberries I embossed them using the Dainty Diamonds 3D Embossing Folder.

My next project was inspired by my friends, Pat Wilkinson and Tina Lesson.  Last Fall I sent them and some other fellow demos and friends Crafty To Do Lists as a thank you for their support of my business and for all the nice things they do to support our group.  Pat and Tina both asked me to print pads for them share with their teams and customers.  They then had the great idea to make pretty covers for them.  I loved this idea so much and had more Berry Delightful DSP and extra supplies from my shaker card, so thought I would give the cover idea a go.  I have a friend who will be getting this for her birthday!

I thought you might appreciate seeing the cover with the measurements and score line.  I did attach the notepad with Multipurpose Glue.

My final project is a fun gnome Valentine that will be on of my Card Kit To Go projects for this week.  I used the Ice Cream Cone Builder punch and the heart from the Dog Builder Punch to make his hat.  His nose is the little tulip from the Vases Builder Punch. His beard is one of the little leaves from the Forever Flourishing Dies and his feet are petals from the Perennial Flower Punch.  I put him together with Dimensionals.  The Hi, Valentine greeting came for the January 2021 Paper Pumpkin Kit, Sending Hearts.
