Here is a list of suggested tools and supplies you need to get together before the party:

• A sentiment stamp set if the stamp set you are using doesn’t have one or the one you want to use
• A stamp set that coordinates with your DSP
• An Embossing Folder
• Simply Scored or a ruler and pencil
• Paper Trimmer or Snips
• Ink pads that coordinate with your cardstock and DSP
• Ribbon, trim and/or embellishments to add that final touch to your project.
• Silicone Craft Mat
• Bone Folder
• Your favorite basic adhesive, Dimensionals, Glue Dots, Tear & Tape, etc…

You will need the following sizes of cardstock and DSP.  PLEASE cut these in advance:

Cardstock – these pieces should coordinate, but not be the same color:

• 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″
• 3 1/4 x 3 1/4

Basic White or Neutral Cardstock:

• 3″ x 3″
• 4 @ 3/4″ x 3/4″
• 4″ x 5 1/4″ for the inside of the card if you the cardbase isn’t light enough to write on.

Designer Series Paper

• 2″ x 5 1/4″ – this piece can be a banner, rectangle or other die cut shape if you wish.  Just keep the length and width close to the same size
• 4 @ 1/2″ 6″ –  these should coordinate, but not be the same

Scraps of cardstock and DSP for stamping, die cutting and punching.

There are SO many fabulous quilt patterns in the world and while it is a great way to use up scraps of fabric it is also an awesome way to use up DSP scraps in a fun and creative way, too! So this month’s theme is Quilt While You Can! Our projects could be ANYTHING! A card, scrapbook page, 3D item, decor piece, etc.. The ONLY rule is that we had to use a quilt pattern!

Before we get started, let me add that the of the three cards to the left was created with ChatGPT and are not real cards.  However, I hope the graphic will inspire you to go out and find new quilt patterns to create unique and fun cards.

So, now to sharing my project.  This is a card I shared a few months ago during my upline’s monthly Mystery Stamping.  While I did tweak the measurements a bit the idea itself was inspired by the Pampered Stamper.

You will find my supply list below.  Here are the measurements:

• Mossy Meadow 8 ½” x 5 ½” and scored at 4 ¼”, 2 ½” x 2 ½” and a scrap piece
• Secret Sea 4” x 5 ¼”and a scrap
• Garden Green 3 ½” x 3 ½” and a scrap
• Nature Walk DSP 2 @ 3 ½” x 3 ½”

As well as presenting this card for my teammates I also made one for my monthly Mystery Stamping Virtual Party.  You can come stamp along with me to get all the details for making this awesome card that shows off all that fabulous DSP that we all love to hoard, but need to use so we can justify buying more! LOL

Mom and I both LOVE this week’s Faux Suede cards!  She even said she was looking forward to making more using her extra pieces of Faux Suede cardstock!  Yay!  Mom also came up with a great tip for getting the cardstock to separate using the Take You Pick Tool.  She is SO smart!
