Please note that we are starting a little earlier this time than usual.  We should be done by 8:00pm for you all who like to get to bear early. =-)

I do have a few open seats at the Stamp Pad for this session of Mystery Stamping and of course there is ALWAYS room for you to join us via Facebook Messenger.  Just be sure to contact me by 5:00pm on May 9th so I can add you to the group.

If you are joining us live at the Stamp Pad please arrive between 6:30 to 6:50pm to chat and get set up, so we can begin promptly at 7:00pm.  Please remember to keep chatting to a minimum in person or virtual unless you have a question about the project.  We will have time to chat and ask any non-project questions after we finish.

Here is the scoop on how our Mystery Stamping Parties work. – You will need to gather your supplies and cut your cardstock before the party. There is a list of supplies (some are suggested, so don’t worry if you don’t have everything) and cardstock dimensions below.

During the party I will give you step-by-step directions to make your card along with some tips and tricks.. We will NOT share anything about our projects until the very end.

It is always so much fun to see how everyone interprets the directions and with everyone using different stamps, cardstock, DSP, etc.., everyone’s card will be a one of a kind!

Please note that you CAN use anything you have in regards to stamp sets, punches, cardstock, DSP or embellishments. It can be retired if you have something you like and want to use.

Here is a list of suggested tools you need to get together before the party:

• A stamp set that can be used as your focal point as well as greeting if you like.  If the stamp set has a matching punch or die you may want to have that handy as well.
• Ink, markers, pencils, etc to stamp and color your images
• Paper Trimmer
• Simply Scored
• Silicone Craft Mat
• Bone Folder
• Your favorite basic adhesive, Tear & Tape, Dimensionals.
• Ribbon, Twine, Trim or Embellishments if you like.

You will need the following sizes of cardstock and DSP.  PLEASE cut these in advance.

Cardstock

• One piece of cardstock that is 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 that coordinates with your DSP
• One piece of neutral cardstock 5 x 3 3/4
• Scraps of neutral and coordinating cardstock for punching, die cutting and creating your focal point.

You will need the following Designer Series Paper:

1 piece of 12 x 12 cardstock that both sides look nice together.  We will cut this together.

This month our talented group of demos have created projects featuring our favorite Online Exclusive products paired with a returning favorite that will appear in the 2023-2024 Annual Catalog. I immediately fell in love with the Tropical Leaf Bundle and had to have it!  I love it so much that anyone who orders it before June 15th get three exclusive card kits for FREE from me because I know you will love it, too!   Click here for more info and a sneak peek at one of the card samples.  I also loved it enough to create my Shoebox Swap for our NC Demos Quarterly Meeting which was this weekend using this versatile bundle and thought it was the perfect time to share it with you.

Along with the Tropical Leaf Bundle, I used some returning favorite colors of mine AND a new In Color, Copper Clay.  I love the new In Colors and the ribbon is some of my favorite in years!  It is SO soft and easy to tie and use.  I know you are definitely going to need it in at least a couple of the new In Colors if not in all five!  If you haven’t seen the new In Colors or the Refresh, Click Here to see them now!

Okay, so enough of the babble, let’s get on with making this fun and easy card!

Here are all the measurements:

• Crushed Curry 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 and scored at 4 1/4
• Garden Green 4 x 5 1/4
• Copper Clay 3 3/4 x 5
• Old Olive 1 x 1 3/4
• Copper Clay Textured Ribbon 4 1/2 – Hint: fray the end and attach with Tear & Tape.

Once you have all the cardstock cut the card goes together pretty quickly.

Stamp the large leaf randomly in Garden Green onto the Copper Clay cardstock.  Don’t forget to stamp one on a piece of Copper Clay and punch it out.

Stamp the small leaf in Old Olive.

Stamp the large leaf in White Craft ink.  Set the stamped piece aside to dry.

Stamp the Hello onto a piece of Old Olive and then punch the ends using the Happy Labels Pick a Punch.

Once the stamped piece is dry assemble your card and decide who is going to get a fun tropical hello for you!
