We had SO much fun at month’s Mystery Stamping Party! We did a twist on the Go Retro Technique using either a brayer or Blending Brushes also with flower punches or dies.

Here is the basic rules for creating the Go Retro background:
- Place 3 small sticky notes on 4 x 5 1/4 piece of Basic White cardstock.
- Place 2 medium size sticky notes on the cardstock, slightly overlapping the other notes
- Place one large size sticky note on the Basic White cardstock. Make sure that there is some negative space (white) between the notes
- Select three colors of ink: one dark, one medium, one light. You will use the darkest color for your first layer of ink. Make sure these colors will blend nicely and not make brown.
- Brayer your darkest ink color over the entire cardstock with a brayer or Blending Brush. Clean the brayer.
- Remove the largest sticky note and brayer the entire piece of cardstock with the medium color ink.
- Remove the medium sticky notes and brayer your last and lightest color.
- Remove the smallest sticky notes and stamp and add embellishments to your project.
