Good evening and welcome to the March edition of the NC Demos Blog Hop.  We are SO glad you are here!  This month since we have the retiring product list from Stampin’ Up! so, our theme is R & R (Retiring & Returning)! Our project needed to include at least one retiring and one returning product from the Current Annual and/or the Mini Catalogs.

Don’t forget to hop all the way around to see what Toni Campana created this month.  She is so talented and always makes something fantastic!

A group of my regular stampers asked me to use the Perennial Lavender for our monthly get together and I decided to also offer it as a part of a new series stamp camps I am calling Fun & Fancy Card Camp.  The cards feature the Perennial Lavender Suite, Perennial Postage Dies Fern 3D EF as returning products along with retiring products the Perennial Postage Stamp set, Lost Lagoon Bordered Ribbon, Simply Elegant Trim.

The first card is a case from  Pinterest from Collard Crafts.  My measurements are:

  • Highland Heather 5 1/2 x x 11 and scored at 4 1/4
  • Perennial Lavender DSP 4 x 5 1/4 and 4 x 1 3/4
  • Gorgeous Grape 1 1/2 x 4 3/4
  • Scraps of Vellum cardstock (also retiring} and Crumb Cake

The second card was cased from a sample by my dear friend and East Meets West Creativity Kit partner, Debbie Danford.  The measurements are:

  • Highland Heather 5 1/2 x x 11 and scored at 4 1/4
  • Gorgeous Grape 4 x 5 1/4
  • Lost Lagoon 3 3/4 x 5
  • Perennial Lavender DSP 3 1/2 x 3 3/4.  Then cut into 1 1/4, 1, 3/4, 1/2 and 1/4 inch strips.

Both cards are fancy, but fun and easy to make.  If you have questions or want to add any of these supplies to your personal craft stash, please contact me.  I would love to help you!

Thank you for letting me share my R&R project.  I am all done, but hop along with me to see the amazing project Laurie Meier is sharing.  I know it will be amazing!
