NC Demos June 2025 Blog Hop – Gear Up For Some Fashionable Crafting!

This month we are Gearing Up for Some Fashionable Crafting! What does this mean? Well, it is simple. Our project could be ANYTHING, but we had to use either something from our own closet or an outfit we spotted out shopping for our inspiration!

Our inspiration could include an awesome color combination, an outfit that mixes and matches patterns and textures or could be based on an accessory like a pair of earrings, pendant or something sparkly. We were also asked to share a picture of our inspiration.

I had a wonderful time making a Floating Frame Tent Fold Card last week as part of my Mystery Stamping and decided that it would be a perfect fancy fold to use in conjunction with my inspiration, an outfit I have loved wearing this Spring and Summer that features a black and white floral top, Calypso Coral trousers and a Lemon Lime Twist cardigan. I wore this outfit yesterday during our team meeting and am including a pic of me along with some of my awesome team members as well as a pic of the outfit that includes the cardigan that I wasn’t wearing during the picture. It was a bit warm here in Raleigh!

I used the Botanical Textures DSP in place of my floral top and I love the tulips from the Mixed Florals Bundle with it. My accessories were Rhinestone Basic Gems colored with a Calypso Coral Blends and the white ribbon was colored with a Blending Brush and Lemon Lime Twist ink.

4 1/4″ x 11″
4 1/4″ x 5″ this is scored at 5/8″, 1 1/2″, 2 3/8″, 3 1/4″ and 4″
2″ x 1 1/2″ and scored at 1″

Botanical Textures DSP 2 @ 4″ x 5 1/4″

Basic White 4″ x 5 1/4″

I apologize that this post is a little text and instruction light this month. The last few weeks have been a bit more hectic that usual (which is always crazy anyway!) with visiting family from Germany, taking care of my elderly mother-in-law and hosting a team meeting yesterday!
