What is a Countless Cards Crafternoon and what do you do at one, you are asking?  Well, it is a chance to replenish your stash of all occasions cards, like birthday, thank you’s, thinking of you, etc..  I will have a Card Buffet where you choose which cards and how many you make of each for $2 per card!  The cards shared here are just a few of the samples available this month.

Card kits for each sample are while supplies last, but I will be adding new choices all month long!

Please note that due to packaging and availability that DSP and accessories may vary from kit to kit.

Bring your own envelopes to stamp to coordinate with your cards.
Your own adhesive is a MUST!  All other supplies will be provided.

Our March theme is “Accessories make every project better!”  Our projects could be anything, but needed to have AT LEAST two accessories. It is definitely a cases of MORE is MORE! Our accessories could be anything from DSP to ribbon, rhinestones to trim and everything in between!

• Instead of pulling the paper out to create the sleeves, I tucked them in and used Tear & Tape to secure them.
• I cut the  Metallic Mesh Ribbon in half to give the petticoat two layers.  I attached the Mesh Ribbon with Tear & Tape.
• I added additional Tear & Tape to the back of the dress to keep all the folds secure.

Here are my measurements and instructions in case you want to create this easy, but stylish card at home:

• Dress 5 x 5 Like an Animal Specialty DSP
• Polished Pink cardbase 5 1/2 x 8 1/2.  Scored at 2 1/8 and 4 1/4
• Smoky Slate 4 x 5 1/4 and scored at 2
• Basic White 4 x 5 1/4
• Like an Animal Specialty DSP 2 x 5
• Basic White scrap for greeting tag
• Ribbon for the bow is 10 inches
• The ribbon for the sash and the Metallic Mesh Ribbon measurements are up to you.

• After cutting and scoring all the cardstock and DSP I attached the Basic White 4 x 5 1/4 piece to the Polished Pink cardbase and then attached the Like an Animal DSP to the Basic White piece.  I used Multipurpose Glue for both.
• Next, I used the Essential Tag Punch to create the legs of the Smoky Slate screen.  I then embossed the Smoky Slate piece using the Cascading Ruffles 3D embossing folder.  I then attached it to the Polished Pink cardbase with Multipurpose Glue.
• Stamp the birthday greeting form Nature’s Prints in Polished Pink and use Paper Snips to create the banner.  Attach this piece to the dress with Tear & Tape.
• Attach the dress to the card using Dimensionals.
• Add Rhinestones to the card for a finishing touch.

Please note, I did case this card from a fellow demo on Pinterest, but feel I gave it my own personal touch with the Mesh Ribbon and using Watercolor Pencils.

This card is one that my guests could choose to make as an add-on kit at this year’s Scrappy Stampers’ Getaway.  Some of my regulars to the Stamp Pad saw the sample and liked it so much we added it to Stamping is Therapy this month, too!  Here are all the directions if you would like to recreate this card or others using your own favorite DSP.

Supplies:

• Season of Chic stamp set
• Balmy Blue & Tuxedo Black Memento Ink
• Layering Circles Dies
• Rectangle Postage Stamp & Circle Punches
• Blender Pen
• Small Blending Brush
• Watercolor Pencils

 Cardstock

• Basic Black 4 1/4 x 11 and scored at 5 1/2
• Perfectly Penciled DSP 4 x 5 1/2
• Basic White scrap for the greeting
• Basic Black 3 x 3 for layering
• Metallic Mesh Ribbon 3 inches
• Pearls Basic Gems

1. Choose a part of the image on the Perfectly Penciled DSP and use the Circle Punch or a Layering Circles Die to cut it out. Use Watercolor Pencils and a Blender Pen to color in the images in the circle.  Watercolor Pencils, a Blender Pen, Balmy Blue ink and a Small Blending Brush were used here.  Alternative coloring choices are Blends, Stampin’ Write Markers, and Blender Pens with Classic Ink Pads.
2. Stamp the greeting from Season of Chic onto a Basic White scrap and punch the ends with the Rectangle Postage Stamp Punch. Set aside.
3. Layer the 4 x 5 1/2 inch piece of Perfectly Penciled DSP onto the Basic Black using Multipurpose Glue.
4. Layer the Basic Black scalloped circle over the place you punched earlier with Dimensionals.
5. Tuck a piece fo Metallic Mesh Ribbon under the Basic Black scallop and adhere with Tear & Tape.
6. Attach the colored circle onto the Basic Black scallop with Dimensionals.
7. Attach the greeting with Dimensionals. You may need to layer these for more height depending on where you place your greeting.
8. Finish the card by adding Pearls Basic Gems.

 the matching tag from WCMD.  As you may or may not know, pink is my favorite color.  I love to wear it and even have it as part of the color scheme in my dressing room.  So, when I saw this card in the 2022 July to December Mini Catalog I had to case it!

• Stylish Shapes Dies
• Whimsical Woodland 3D Embossing Folder
• Banners Pick A Punch
• Stamparatus
• Ink: Granny Apple Green, Melon Mambo and White Craft Ink

Measurements:

• Melon Mambo 8 1/2 x 11, scored at 4 1/4
• Melon Mambo 4 x 5 1/4
• Basic White 3 x 3
• Granny Apple Green 3/4 x 3
• Shaded Spruce 1 x 3
• Soft Sea Foam Seam Binding Ribbon 5 inches

1. Use the Whimsical Woodland 3D Embossing Folder and emboss the 4 x 5 1/4 Melon Mambo cardstock.  Then use the Direct to Paper Technique to apply White Craft Ink over the embossed cardstock.  Set aside to dry.
2. Use the Stamparatus and the Template Technique to stamp the Christmas tree onto the Basic White circle in Granny Apple Green ink.
3. Stamp the Christmas balls by hand in Melon Mambo onto the Christmas tree.
4. Use the Stamparatus to stamp the “so very merry” greeting in Melon Mambo ink onto the Granny Apple Green cardstock.
5. Fray the ends of the Soft Sea Foam Seam Binding Ribbon on both ends. Leave a little unfrayed so you have enough to attach the ribbon to the banner.  Set aside.
6. Use the Banners Pick a Punch on the Granny Apple Green & Shaded Spruce cardstock to create the banner tag.
7. Attach the Seam Binding Ribbon to the back of the Granny Apple Green banner using Dimensionals. Then attach the Granny Apple Green and Shaded Spruce pieces together using Dimensionals.
8. Adhere the Melon Mambo embossed layer to the Melon Mambo cardbase using Multipurpose Glue.
9. Add the circle with the Christmas tree to the Melon Mambo layer using Dimensionals.
10. Finish the card by attaching the banner with Dimensionals.

Christmas Greetings Tag

Supplies:

• Trees for Sale stamp set
• Stylish Shapes Dies
• Whimsical Woodland 3D Embossing Folder
• Banners Pick A Punch
• Stamparatus
• Ink: Granny Apple Green, Melon Mambo and White Craft Ink

Measurements:

• Melon Mambo 3 1/2 x 4 3/4
• Melon Mambo 3 1/4 x 4 1/2
• Basic White 3 x 3
• Parakeet Party 3/4 x 3 1/2
• Soft Sea Foam Seam Binding Ribbon 10 inches
• 3 Opal Rounds

1. Use the Whimsical Woodland 3D Embossing Folder and emboss the 3 1/4 x 4 1/2
2. Melon Mambo cardstock. Then use the Direct to Paper Technique to apply White Craft Ink over the embossed cardstock.  Set aside to dry.
3. Use the Stamparatus and the Template Technique to stamp the Christmas tree onto the Basic White circle in Granny Apple Green ink.
4. Stamp the Christmas balls by hand in Melon Mambo onto the Christmas tree.
5. Use the Stamparatus to stamp “Christmas Greetings” in Melon Mambo ink onto the Parakeet Party cardstock.
6. Use the Banners Pick a Punch on the Parakeet Party cardstock to create the banner tag.
7. Once the White Craft Ink is dry, line up the two pieces of Melon Mambo cardstock and punch the hole for the ribbon. Then adhere the two layers using Dimensionals.
8. Add the Soft Sea Foam Seam Binding Ribbon to the tag.
9. Add the circle with the Christmas tree to the Melon Mambo layer using Dimensionals.
10. Attach the banner with Dimensionals.
11. Complete the tag by adding 3 Opal Rounds.

• Soft Succulent 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 and scored at 4 1/4.  Side panel 3 x 5 1/2
• Real Red Glimmer Paper 3 inches wide then cut into strips of varying sizes
• White Glimmer Paper 2 1/2 inches then cut into varying size rectangles that I then cut randomly diagonally.
• Real Red Ribbon from the Real Red and Garden Green Combo Pack 14 inches

I used a combination of Dimensionals and Multipurpose Glue to attach all the cardstock and Glimmer Paper.  I used Tear & Tape to attach the Real Red Ribbon between the two circles.  I finished off the card with a little Wink of Stella on and around the tree.  The whole card from start to finish took about 20 minutes and I am so pleased with how it turned out.

I love that this month’s theme and my lack of planning really challenged my creativity and made me use what I had.  I think this is such a good lesson at this time of year.  Thank you for letting me share my scrappy little card and I hope you will try out this idea of yourself.  There are SO many clever ideas out there on Pinterest and my fellow demos blogs.

We had such a wonderful day stamping and socializing with our team, the Stamp Pad Society, our friends and customers that I wanted to take the time to share with you.  So, over the next few weeks I will be sharing some of the fun pictures from our event taken by our own Megan “Paparazzi” Mears the day of the event.

I will also share the cards and tags that were part of the kits that day.  I am starting with Christmas as I know that is what many of you are planning and creating right now.  We will start with Peace at Christmas.  This was a card I created in conjunction with my friend and team member, Linda Clough.  This card gave us both fits as we worked toward the perfect blend of stamping and getting the greeting piece just right.  In the end it was a fan favorite of those attending our World Card Making Day event.  I hope you enjoy it, too!

Peace at Christmas Card

Supplies:

• Leaves of Holly & Christmas Season stamp sets
• Fern Embossing Folder
• Ink: Crumb Cake, Evening Evergreen, Merry Merlot, Real Red, Soft Succulent, and Soft Suede

Measurements:

• Evening Evergreen 8 ½ x 5 ½ and score at 4 ¼
• Evening Evergreen 1 1/4 x 1 1/4
• Real Red 4 x 5 1/2
• Basic White 3 3/4 x 5
• Basic White 1 x 1
• Mini Ruffled Ribbon 6 inches

1. Randomly stamp the inside of the leaves using smaller leaf from Leaves of Holly in Soft Succulent onto the piece of Basic White cardstock. Stamp the outside of the leaves in Evening Evergreen.
2. Randomly stamp the insides of the smaller pinecones from Christmas Season in Crumb Cake. Stamp the outside of the pinecones in Soft Suede.
3. Randomly stamp the inside of the berries from Leaves of Holly in Real Red. Stamp the outside/highlight of the berries in Merry Merlot.
4. Emboss the stamped piece of Basic White cardstock using the Fern 3D Embossing Folder.
5. Stamp the Peace from Leaves of Holly in Real Red onto the 1 x 1 piece of Basic White cardstock.
6. Make a loop out of the Red Ruffled Ribbon and attach the back of the 1 x 1 Basic White square. Attach this piece to the 1 1/4 x 1 1/4 piece of Evening Evergreen using Dimensionals.
7. Attach the Real Red layer to the Evening Evergreen cardbase using Multipurpose Glue.
8. Adhere the stamped piece of Basic White to the Real Red piece with Multipurpose Glue.
9. Finally, add the little tag to the card using Dimensionals.
