Julie Andrews sang about it in the Sound of Music. Oprah puts out a list each year. Now it’s time for the NC Demos to share our favorite things from the 2019-2020 Annual Catalog AND/OR the 2019 Holiday Catalog during this month’s blog hop which you might already know if you stopped in at Erin Cook’s blog.

So one of my favorite things is Halloween.  I love everything about it; decorating, getting dressed up, parties and trick or treating.  It’s ALL fun!  I also love making samplers because I can use so many different stamp sets, products and accessories.  While I have made a Halloween shadow box in the past this is the first time I have made a full sampler.  It was so much fun since I got to use so many fabulous products from both of the current catalogs.

First, almost all the squares were stamped with the Tuxedo Black Memento Pad.  This is definitely a must have for an everyday black ink pad.  It works great with the Blends, like on the first square with the raven, but it is equally great on the squares with the cards, bats, spider webs and for the jack-o-lantern in the last square.

So, my second favorite thing right now is the Mercury Glass Specialty Paper.  I love how it works behind the Wicked die (it is Rich Razzleberry cardstock inked with VersaMark and embossed with the Black Glimmer Embossing Powder).  This paper is so unique and I have some great ideas for using it for my Countless Christmas Card Buffets coming up in November and December.

I know it has been around for a while, but I am still a huge fan of the Embossing Paste and decorative masks. It was really fun using the brick wall mask along with the paste and Smoky Slate Reinker with the spiders and webs from the Wonderfully Wicked stamp set to make the fifth square.

The final product that I think is this year’s must have it the Harvest Hellos Bundle that I used for the first square..  I love that it makes pumpkins, jack-0-lanterns and apples.  It is a stamp set and punch that you can use year round for LOTS of different projects.

Thank you for letting me share a little bit about my Halloween Sampler and a few of my favorite things.  If you have questions, need help placing an order or want help with a project.  I would love to help you!

I am off to hop along to see what Tina Lesson’s favorite things.  I hope you will come along with us!  Until next month….

Happy Stamping!

Your sampler is great! I haven’t tried the Mercury Glass Specialty Paper yet, but your “Wicked” piece has me convinced that I need to. Thanks so much for sharing your favorite products!
