logoHello, and welcome to the NC Demos October Blog Hop!  We know everyone has holiday projects from Halloween to Christmas in full swing, so it is a great time to use some of our fabulous stamp sets and bundles to celebrate these holidays and everything in between!  If you didn’t already to do, go see what Dawn Colby is sharing this month.  I know it is great!
Part of this month’s theme was to pick a favorite stamp set and coordinating products and create two projects celebrating two different holidays or occasions! I have been using the Harvest Hellos stamp set and the Apple Builder Punch for projects ALL year and so decided to share two of the Mini Easel Samplers that my Terrific Techies have made using them in August and again in November.  I think this set is terrific for cards, samplers, tags and SO much more.  I also like that I can use it for different holidays and occasions.
The first sampler was from our August Techies to celebrate Back to School.  the measurements are as follows:
Bumble Bee 4 x 4 3/4
Basic Black 3 1/2 x 4 1/4
Scraps for Real Red, Granny Apple Green and Bumble Bee for punching.
I love the simplicity of this project.  I used a sponge and Whisper White Craft Ink to make the chalk board and while that was drying I stamped my apple and greeting in Memento Ink and punched them out.  I set the apple and greeting aside and used the Chalk Marker to write my ABC on my chalkboard. I embossed the Bumble Bee cardstock with the Pinewood Planks 3D Embossing folder and then attached everything using Dimensionals. I added a little Wink of Stella to my apple for a finishing touch.
This second project was from our October Terrific Techies and it is one of my favorites.  I did case this from a fellow demo on Pinterest.  I had never really thought about using Pretty Peacock for a Fall or Thanksgiving project, but now I am hooked on this color combination!  I started by cutting my Pretty Peacock cardstock, 4 x 4 3/4 and the In Good Taste DSP 3 1/2 x 4 3/4 then die cut the leaves from the Gathered Leaves Dies in Old Olive cardstock and the Brushed Metallic cardstock
I used the Stamparatus to stamp my larger leaves in Old Olive and the greeting using Early Espresso ink on Pumpkin Pie cardstock.
I then stamped my pumpkins and punched out the pumpkins, stems and my greeting.
I put everything together using Dimensionals then added the cooper stems with Glue Dots.
After I had everything in place I used a Bone Folder to curl 1/4 x 2 1/2 inch scraps of Old Olive cardstock and attached them with Glue Dots.  I again used Wink of Stella as a finishing touch on my pumpkins. I really like this project and can’t wait to share it with my Thanksgiving decorations!

If you are looking for a fun gift idea of friends and family that will keep them thinking about you all year, add one of my Mini Calendars to the back of your easel!
This year’s calendars are
2 1/2 x 3 1/2.
The calendars are $1.10 each or $1 each if you buy 25 or more.
Payment may be made by cash, PayPal or Venmo.
I can ship them to you or if you are in the Raleigh area you can pop by and pick them up. If there is a group of you from a town or area that want me to ship a package to just one of you to save on postage I am happy to do that, too!
I am off to see what Jo Anne Hewinshas created and I will most likely have to case this week!  I always love her stuff!  Come along with me if you haven’t already visited her blog tonight.
Thank you for letting me share my Mini Easel Samplers with you.  I hope I have inspired you to create your own or to use these ideas for cards or other projects.  Feel free to contact me if  you have questions or would like to order any of the products that I have used.  I would love to help you!
Happy Stamping!

Love your projects! I would not have thought of Pretty Peacock for a Fall project either, but it really works.

Tracie – Your mini easel samplers are just wonderful. And, yes, including Pretty Peacock in the colors to celebrate fall and Thanksgiving is perfect. Just beautiful! I especially love all the colors and textures on your October mini easel. Hope you don’t mind if I CASE 🙂
