Well, here it is the beginning of August and it is rainy and muggy. Not a great day for being outside, but it is a great day for stamping! I had a request from one of the ladies to make a ladybug card for our August Crafternoons. Well, who am I to say no. Especially, when I think this ladybug is so cute and it gave me a great excuse to use the Phrases for All stamp set that has been sitting on my worktable for weeks!
This card is SUPER quick and easy. It took me longer to decide which colors to use than to make it!
Here are the basic measurements and I will include the supply list at the bottom of the post:
- Crushed Curry 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 and scored at 4 1/4
- Regals 6 x 6 DSP (Crushed Curry) 4 x 5 1/4
- 2 inch strips of Basic Black, Old Olive and Real Red to punch the ladybug and greenery
- 3/4 inch strips of Basic White for the greeting
I did use Black Dimensionals to attach the ladybug and her wings and used Multipurpose Glue to attach the DSP, and greenery. The greeting is attached with Mini Dimensionals.
Thank you for letting me share a little cheer on a blah day. If you are in the Raleigh area I would love to have you join me on August 31st to make this card and the others I have ready for a fun Crafternoon! You can find the details for this and my other upcoming events on my Events Calendar.
If you can’t join us in person, but would like the supplies to make this card, let me know! I can send you all the cardstock, punched pieces and embellishments to make it. As per Stampin’ Up!’s copy write policy, I will not send stamped images.
Stay Safe & Crafty!
