Hello and welcome to your August Blog Hop1  We are SO glad you are here.  If you stopped by and saw Kelly Taranto’s awesome project you know our theme is “To Die For!” and our projects could be anything, but MUST feature a standalone die or bundle that featured a large die.
I am currently in Las Vegas for Stampin’ Up! BackStage, sitting poolside with some of my demo friend besties, so this is going to be a quick post that I will update with a supply list and a few more details later.  If you have que
stions, please contact me.  I

would love to help you make this easy card!
So, my project features the Two-Tone Floral Dies and I used Go To Greetings for the greeting.I started the project by die cutting Basic White Thick cardstock then carefully snipping the piece apart.  Next, I used Blending Brushes and Bubble Bath, Daffodil Delight, Moody Mauve and Old Olive ink to color the cardstock.  It was a bit to bright for what I wanted, so I covered the entire piece with Shimmery Embossing Paste.  I love how this turned out.  While my paste was drying I pulled apart a six inch piece of Moody Mauve Textured Ribbon and set aside the six inch fibers to use for another project, deciding to use the bit I pulled away as I love the texture and dimension it added to the card. I think stamped my greeting on a piece of Vellum cardstock, cut it out using the Stylish Shapes Dies and attached the entire project together using Tear and Tape.
Thank you for letting me share my project with you!  Be sure to pop over and see what Tina Lesson created.  I know it will be to die for, too!
Happy Stamping!

Very pretty card, Tracie! I like how you cut down the die, that’s something I tend to forget about.

Safe travels back home and hope to see you soon!

Very pretty card, Tracie. I like how you cut down the die-cut piece, that is something that I tend to forget about doing.

Safe travels back from Vegas! Can’t wait to hear how Leadership was 🙂

Tracie – Your card is beautiful! Love how you used parts of the die and blending such pretty colors on the design. Hope you had a great time at Back Stage. Looking forward to hearing all about it!
