NC Demos May 2025 Blog Hop – What’s Your Favorite In Color?

Good evening and welcome to our NC Demos monthly blog hop!  We are SO glad you are here!  If you haven’t already done so, be sure to hop all the way around to see what Frances Wagner has created to share this month.  I know it will be fabulous as always!

This month we are sharing our favorite of the wonderful new 2025-2027 In Colors.  While I love all of them I was thrilled to see Strawberry Slush, one of my favorite colors of all time come back!  So, I did bend the rules just a bit as I did use another all time favorite for my projects, Pretty in Pink.  It is also currently an In Color, so I think I can be forgiven.  These two colors work so nicely together and when you add Smoky Slate you have a fabulous combination!

The first card that I am sharing is part of my upcoming East meets West Bonus Class that features a Kiss of Texture. Here are the measurements and you can find the product list for both of my cards at the bottom of this post:

• Strawberry Slush 5 ½”x 8 ½”and scored @ 4 ¼”and 3 ½” x 3 ½”
• Pretty in Pink 4”x 5 ¼”
• Basic White 4”x 5 ¼” and 2 ½” x 2 ½”
• Smoky Slate 1 ¼”” x 3 ½”

The second project that I am sharing tonight also uses Strawberry Slush, Pretty in Pink and Smoky Slate.  I know I am late to the party on discovering how awesome the Layer of Beauty Masks are!  This is such an easy card to make and is one that my customers are making this month during my Cute Cards Quick events.

The measurements of this card are VERY basic and while it looks difficult, it is SO easy!  All you have to do is use the masks in order from 1 to 5 along with your favorite ink pads and Small Blending Brushes!

• Basic White Thick 4 1/4″ x 11″
• Strawberry Slush 4″ x 5 1/4″
• Basic White 3 3/4″ x 5″ and a scrap
