Wow!  It is once again time for Mystery Stamping!  I know I always say this, but you are going to LOVE this month’s project!  It is SO easy, but doesn’t look that way!  Totally my kind of project!  As a bonus you don’t have to cut tiny little pieces of DSP and cardstock this month! Yay!

Check out the supply list and measurements below. Let me know if you have questions.  I look forward to “seeing” you on Wednesday night!

Stay Safe & Crafty!

Wednesday, May 20th at 7:00pm

This event will be virtual only, via Zoom.  Be sure to email me at tracie@stampwithtracie.com by 3:00pm on Wednesday, so I can add you to the Zoom email list.  You should receive the email with the link by 5:00pm.  If you do not receive it by then, please text or email me and I will make sure you get it!

Can’t join us on live on Wednesday night, but want to create this fun project?  No, problem!  Visit the Stamp Pad Facebook page or check my blog for the completed project and link to my YouTube channel Thursday afternoon.

Please join me on the Zoom link starting at 6:45pm to chat or ask any questions you may have.  We will begin promptly at 7:00pm. Please remember to keep chatting to a minimum, unless you have a question about the project.  We will have time to chat and ask any non-project questions after we finish.

Here is the scoop on how our Mystery Stamping Parties work. – You will need to gather your supplies and cut your cardstock before the party. There is a list of supplies (some are suggested, so don’t worry if you don’t have everything) and cardstock dimensions below.

During the party I will give you step-by-step directions to make your card along with some tips and tricks. We will NOT share anything about our projects until the very end.

PLEASE note that that I might practice a fancy fold to make sure I understand how it works, but I DO NOT create the full project until I do it with you.  So, it is always a mystery how it will all turn out for me, just like it is for you!

It is always so much fun to see how everyone interprets the directions and with everyone using different stamps, cardstock, DSP, etc.., everyone’s card will be a one of a kind!

Please note that you CAN use anything you have in regards to stamp sets, punches, cardstock, DSP or embellishments. It can be retired if you have something you like and want to use.

Hint, if this is your first time joining us, you might consider prepping two sets of cardstock and DSP.  We lovingly call this “Pulling an Allison.” This ensures that if something goes wrong or you decide  you don’t like how something goes together you can easily fix it.

Here is a list of suggested tools and supplies you need to get together before the party:

  • A stamp set with small and medium stamps.  Coordinating dies and punches will be good, but are not required.
  • A sentiment stamp set if the stamp set you are using doesn’t have one or the one you want to use
  • Simply Scored or a ruler and pencil
  • Paper Trimmer
  • Ink pads that coordinate with your cardstock and DSP
  • Ribbon, trim and/or embellishments to add that final touch to your project.
  • Silicone Craft Mat
  • Bone Folder
  • Your favorite basic adhesive, Dimensionals, Glue Dots, Tear & Tape, etc…

You will need the following sizes of cardstock and DSP.  PLEASE cut these in advance:

Cardstock – these pieces should coordinate, but not be the same color:

  • 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″
  • Basic White or something neutral 4″ x 5 1/4″, 2 3/4″ x 2 3/4″ and a scrap

Designer Series Paper – these pieces can coordinate, or be the same.  Your finished card will be portrait, so keep this in mind if you are using directional DSP:

  • 2 1/4″ x 2 1/4″
  • 1 3/4″ x 4 1/4″
  • 1″ x 4″
  • 3/4″ x 3 1/2″

Scraps of cardstock and DSP for stamping, die cutting and punching etc…
