NC Demos August 2022 Blog Hop – Always in Style!

Hello and welcome to our August Blog Hop!  If you didn’t already stop by to see what Toni Campana made this month you definitely want to make sure you hop all the way around and check out her post.  She is so creative and always an inspiration to me!

Like the little black dress, a black & white card never goes out of style and is perfect for nearly any occasion. So, this month we are creating cards that are black and white and always in style!

My card is totally cased from the 2022-2023 Annual Catalog  on page  16 using the Bottled Happiness Bundle.  I just switched out all the color for Basic Black, Basic White and Smoky Slate.

There are a couple of tricks that will help you create this card with ease.  Definitely use the Stamparatus for stamping the flowers unless you are a wiz with two step stamping.  It will save you a lot of headache and cardstock!   You will also want to attach the DSP to the Basic White cardstock and then punch the bottle.  Other than that this is not a difficult card to make.

Don’t forget to add a little Wink of Stella to your tag and flowers.  Wink of Stella makes any project just a little better!

Here are the measurements I used in case you want to recreate this card:

• Basic Black 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 and scored at 4 1/4
• Basic White 3 3/4 x 5
• Perfectly Penciled DSP 1 x 3 3/4
• Gingham Ribbon 8 inches
