Happy New Year’s Eve and welcome to the LAST NC Demos Blog Hop of the year!  It’s time to say goodbye to 2023 and welcome in 2024! So, what better way to ring in the New Year than with a little or maybe a lot of bling!  Our December project could be ANYTHING! A sparkly and shiny birthday card, a glitzy and glam decor piece, a party invitation, anything as long as it had bling!

If you are starting the blog hop with my post, don’t forget to hop all the way around and see what my friend, Laurie Meier, created this month.  I know it will inspire you to bring the bling to your next project!

Since I am in full Scrappy Stampers’ Getaway mode and planning the cards for my Cute Cards Quick Kits, I decided that my blingy project needed to be a card that was not only cute, quick and blingy, but also neutral enough in color and theme that could be used for any gender and for most occasions.  I also wanted to you the Light the Sky Bundle and I think it is such a great all occasions product!  After having my color and product plan I looked at Pinterest and got some inspiration from a card created by fellow demo, Julie Gilson.

This card is SO quick and easy as it is all ink, stamps, paper with a little ribbon

and bling thrown in.  It is totally my kind of card and I think the ladies attending my Getaway in February will love making it!

Here are the measurements in case you would like to create this card:

  • Lost Lagoon 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 and scored at 4 1/4
  • Pretty Peacock 3 3/4 x 5
  • Basic White 3 1/2 x 4 3/4
  • More Dazzle Specialty DSP 3 1/2 x 1/4
  • Lost Lagoon Bordered Ribbon one 6 inch piece for the trim and one 5 inch piece to for the knot
  • Silver Trim from the Gold & Silver Trim Pack 6 inches

Thank you for letting me help you Bling in the New Year!  I hope you found some inspiration in my project.  If you have questions or would like to order any of the products that I used, please contact me.  I would love to help you!

Well,I am all done stamping and sharing in 2023, but there is more sparkly things to see in this month!  Hop on over to Kelly Taranto’s blog with me to see what I know will be a fabulous and shiny project!

Stay Safe & Crafty in 2024!

Great card, Tracie! And I hate that I’m going to miss the opportunity to make it at the Scrappy Stampers Retreat! I’m making it a point to attend the 2025 event!

Tracie – After seeing your beautiful card, I need to pay more attention to the Light the Sky Bundle! And, I agree that folks at the Getaway will love the card. Happy New Year!
