SUO Challenge – A Pretty Kitty Card
Welcome to the latest SUO Challenge. This time we are gong wild with projects featuring animals and critters. As you know if you have followed my blog for long you know that I love my fur babies, Annabel, Parker and Emmie. I love all kinds of furry critters, but I am most definitely a cat person and I seem to have LOTS of friends who are as well. So, it was an easy choice to make a sweet kitty cat card to send just because.
This card is very basic, but I think sometimes it is nice to make something simple and sweet, especially if you are coloring and using embellishments, texture and and DSP like I did with my sitting pretty kitty card. The measurements for are super easy:
- Smoky Slate cardbase 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 and scored at 4 1/4
- Whisper White 2 x 3
- Fresh Florals DSP 1 x 3
After precutting my cardstock and DSP I scored and then embossing my Smoky Slate cardbase with the Ruffled Dynamic TIEF. I set all of this aside while I stamped my kitty using Basic Black ink then colored it using the Watercolor Pencils and Blender Pens. Once I finished coloring in my scene I used a Sponge Dauber and a little Lemonlime Twist to the edge of the cardstock.
Now it was just time to put everything together. I attached the DSP with Fast Fuse, my kitty cat scene with Stampin’ Dimensionals and topped it off with a Lemonlime Twist self adhesive Bitty Bow. How cute are those!
Thank you for letting me share my simple kitty card. Take a minute to go see the other animals and critters our design team and then share your own project with us.
As always please let me know if you have questions or need to add any of supplies I used to your own crafting stash. I would love to help you!
Happy Stamping!
